I use Songsterr (a great tab resource that is accurate and has a built in midi player) as a resource for teaching, so if you are one of my students, and a song you'd like to learn is on there, then let me know and I can print it for us to use in our lessons. I encourage you also to bring CDs to lessons with your own music.

An introduction to Reggae Bass looking at Aston Barrett. These written notes are accompanied by a cd of playalong tracks which I have prepared, as well as accurate transcriptions prepared on Finale in staff notation and tablature. This lesson is a good introduction to reggae music, with some analysis of the style and the tension/ release of the reggae grooves. It is suitable for beginners and more advanced players who are new to reggae.
